With our three-year program 'Strengthening Families Together' we are helping fourteen social initiatives in the Caribbean. Over the next three years, they will have the opportunity to increase their positive impact for families in vulnerable circumstances.
The fourteen organizations that have been selected have been committed to families on Aruba, Curacao, Sint Maarten and Saba for a long time. Together they reach a broad spectrum of specific sub-target groups: single (teenage) mothers, children of parents living in poverty, early school leavers, mothers and children who are victims of domestic violence, young people who have come into contact with the justice system and families whose members are undocumented. are. With parenting support, work-study programs, debt assistance, promotion of participation, stimulation of child development and increasing parental involvement, the program participants contribute to strengthening families in the Caribbean and thus to achieving the long-term goals of the 'Strengthening Families Together' program.
