Several Dutch foundations are active in the Caribbean part of the Dutch Kingdom. The largest charities in the field of social welfare have joined forces, these foundations provide financial support to local social initiatives. Stichting Kinderpostzegels Nederland, Oranje Fonds, Kansfonds and Sluyterman van Loo Foundation, work together on all six Dutch Caribbean islands to achieve this purpose. This collaboration ensures that that if you need funding for your project from any of these foundations, you only need to apply once through one application form, and all foundations can take your application into consideration.
The Samenwerkende Fondsen Cariben offer financial contributions to social projects. For example, we support care for juvenile ex-detainees. We also support activities for the elderly, or projects for quality of life in the neighborhood. In this way we want to increase the involvement between people and ensure equal opportunities for everyone in society.
